Urgent appointments

To request an urgent appointment for today (Monday to Friday):

  • Phone us Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm (phone line closed between 12-1pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and between 1-2pm on a Wednesday)
  • Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm (surgery closed between 1-2pm every Wednesday)

When you get in touch, the receptionist will ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Routine appointments

  • Use our online form (E-Consult) We will respond by 6pm the next working day, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6.00pm
  • Phone us Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6.00pm (phone line closed between 12-1pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and between 1-2pm on a Wednesday)
  • Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6.00pm (surgery closed between 1-2pm every Wednesday)

Appointments by phone can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.

Non-urgent advice: Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:


– Phone us Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm (phone lines closed between 12-1pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday and between 1-2pm on Wednesdays)


– Use your NHS account through the NHS website or in the NHS App.


Each month hours of GP and practice nurse time is wasted due to patients not turning up for their appointments. Please let us know as soon as possible if you no longer need your appointment.


You’ll receive a text message 24 hours before your appointment, you can also cancel any unwanted appointments by following the link on this reminder text.

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online (111.nhs.uk) or call 111.

111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we may do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.
